Collection & Delivery

We will look over your vessel together first to check if it’s ready for its voyage. I would expect the canal boat to be in good working order, having sufficient fuel and fresh water for its intended journey. Any issues will be highlighted on our checklist before we set off and we will discuss them together. If more fuel is required, it will be settled with a final account on handover at your specified delivery point. You will be able to track your boat’s progress throughout its voyage and I will keep you up to date with any relevant information.

Before our handover, your canal boat will be fully valeted inside and out. Canal Boat Movers prides itself in delivering vessels in the same condition as when they were collected, if not better. If any issues, such as mechanical, do crop up during passage, we will make every attempt to correct, and will keep you fully informed at all times. At the end of every journey, we will go through our checklist together before the job is signed off.
